COMPONENT TA10 SERIES ..
Whilst not designed to do a projectionist's job, theatre automation allows consistency of presentation and unattended operation of general house and booth functions. The TA10 also offers full failsafe and interlock operation and ensures compliance with ACOP and fire alarm interface requirements.

The TA-10 Theatre Automation System is a moderately-priced hybrid system which uses a micro-controller based sequencer to perform those tasks which are the same in all programs, and it uses a simple cueing scheme which allows the film itself to carry up to seven discrete commands, such as sound format changes, lens turret, masking controls, and light dimmer settings. Accessories and variations are available for many applications to fit your specific needs.

TA-10 Remote Control/Status Box
The Remote Control/Status Indicator Box connect to the two-wire data link and can communicate with up to six-teen TA-10 units. A set of three LED indicator lights show when the projector is ready, starting up, running the show, and shutting down. Those units in Interlock are also shown. Any projectors not in Interlock can be started from the Remote Box, and any (including those in Interlock) can be stopped. A Status-Only (no push buttons) version is also available.
Terminals are provided inside the box for a "Panic" system shutdown. These are intended for connection to a house master fire alarm. An alarm sounds in the event of any failure and there is indication of which projector is in trouble.

FM35 /FM37 Cue detector
A proximity sensor style of cue detector has been designed specifically for the motion pic-ture industry. No longer is there a need for the big, expensive, industrial type sensors, which must be tailored to the electrical circuit they are to control. Furthermore, the old film-break rollers riding on (and sometimes scratching) the film have been replaced with modern optical sensors and with the added ability of knowing that the film is actually mov-ing! The triple-cue FM-35 is intended as a stand-alone direct replacement for mechanical units, or with accessories, it can upgrade simpler automation systems to more flexible in-stallations.
