The D2 Acoustical Measurement System is used by cinema professionals around the world in motion picture dubbing stages, commercial cinemas, and home theatres. It is a comprehensive approach to cinema testing. The D2 is lightweight yet rugged, designed for convenient and accurate field testing. Because the D2 hardware is integrated with the win\|RTA software, it is capable of performing automated measurement tasks. The software controlled muliplexer enables the D2 to do four microphone multiplexed room response measurements utilizing individual microphone calibration files and gain leveling. Automated four microphone NC and RT60 testing are also available. The D2 has a feature called Comprehensive Theatre Test which allows the operator to test and catalog all facets of a theatre's performance in one file. CTT has modes for Cinema, Mix rooms, and Home Theatre. Data can be easily exported to a spreadsheet for report generation. The D2 can control the cinema processor pink noise with the D2 Controller. 125-277	ANYTEST ONE - DMX Tester and sender. The ANY Test One provides installers and service/test personnel with a highly portable and flexible DMX 512 source. The slider level control and simple channel address setting controls give immediate control of individual DMX channels, with a large clear LCD readout of set channel and sent data. Level settings on up to three DMX channels can be memorised in the stores so as to allow testing and checking of sophisticated DMX units, such as moving lights (waggly mirrors). For instance the iris, shutter and colour could be set in memory whilst the user has direct control over the motor functions. If no control is operated for a period of approximately 5 minutes the unit will shut down to conserve the batteries. However by pressing the function switch, the previous settings both in memory and on direct display will be restored. The small size and weight of the unit together with the use of battery power and standard DMX connector ensure that the unit is completely portable and ready for individual use in any situation during installation or on test work. Thirty-five millimeter film prints are color balanced at the laboratory, whereas digital cinema presentations must be calibrated at the projector. With its precision spectrometer, the PCA digitizes the incoming light to extract the primary colors and generate chromaticity values. These values are processed to generate a chromaticity and luminance display on your laptop. In addition, the PCA has a built-in optical viewfinder which makes the selection of a specific area of the screen easy and accurate to within a one degree spot. This high quality instrument has a resolution range which allows measurement of the projector contrast ratio and is capable of checking the projector’s ”X” and “Y” linearity. PSA200	Projection analyser, for PC use. The USL, Inc. Projection System Analyzer 200 (PSA-200) is an advanced system for aligning and analyzing motion picture projection systems. The PSA-200 is a portable system that comes in a single, high-quality carrying case. The system primarily consists of a specialized TV camera, a Video Interface PCMCIA card (PC Card), and custom software. It is designed for use with a laptop PC operating with Windows 95 or 98. The software is very easy to use. The PSA-200 greatly improves the quality of projection system alignment and significantly reduces the time and effort involved. The PSA-200 displays the luminance values for every part of the screen. It also indicates and accentuates variations in screen brightness by shading of the laptop display. An optional feature also allows analysis and reporting of the weave, jitter and flicker components of the projected image. The PSA-200 can also be used as a spot meter. The standard luminance range is from three to 30 foot-Lamberts (10-100 candelas/ square meter). With the addition of an optional ND1 neutral density filter, the range can be changed to 30 to 300 foot-Lamberts. All information measured and displayed can be saved in a report file suitable for hardcopy print out. A listing of all equipment for each theatre auditorium can be entered into the report along with any pertinent comments.
